Rulers, sharp pencils etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Correct use of terminology and units at all times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>(No voltage in\/ through) (No current across)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">NO WAFFLE!<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong><u>Title<\/u><\/strong><\/span>&nbsp;&nbsp; Short and relevant with date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><u>Aim<\/u><\/span><\/strong> &nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; What are you trying to find out\/prove?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>To find out how \u201c<strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">something<\/span><\/strong>\u201d affects \u201c<strong><span style=\"color: #00ff00;\">something else<\/span><\/strong>\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><u><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Method<\/span> <\/u><\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Instructions on how to complete the experiment; make it reliable and make it a fair test:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Set up the following apparatus <\/em>(draw a good labelled diagram).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>The \u201c<strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">something<\/span><\/strong>\u201d was set at a \u201c<strong><span style=\"color: #00ccff;\">value<\/span><\/strong>\u201d and increased by an \u201c<strong><span style=\"color: #00ccff;\">amount<\/span><\/strong>\u201d using the \u201c<span style=\"color: #000080;\">piece of equipment<\/span>\u201d.&nbsp; The \u201c<strong><span style=\"color: #339966;\">something else<\/span><\/strong>\u201d was noted &nbsp;&nbsp; at each value using the \u201c<span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>other piece of equipment<\/strong><\/span>\u201d.&nbsp; Other variables were kept constant by\u2026\u2026.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><u>Results<\/u><\/span><\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; Display the findings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A neat table with headings and units.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An appropriate graph of <em>\u201c<strong><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\">something<\/span><\/strong>\u201d <\/em>on the <strong>x-axis<\/strong> and<em> \u201c<span style=\"color: #339966;\"><strong>something else<\/strong><\/span>\u201d <\/em>on <strong>the y-axis.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><u>Conclusion<\/u><\/span><\/strong>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; What did you find out?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>As the \u201c<span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>something<\/strong><\/span>\u201d is increased \/ decreased, the \u201c<span style=\"color: #339966;\"><strong>something else<\/strong><\/span>\u201d increased \/ decreased \/ stayed the same.<\/em>\u00a0 Also include &#8220;there is a linear relationship&#8221; if appropriate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong><u>Evaluation<\/u><\/strong>&nbsp;<\/span>&nbsp;&nbsp; Are there any improvements that could be made to your experiment to reduce uncertainties?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/s.gravatar.com\/avatar\/e1515b0c027eaeaaa7232dae92981146?s=80\" alt=\"\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Updated Fe 2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>If you have time it is good scientific practice to produce an experimental write up.
