Hi Folks these are the dates for the N5 Prelims Mrs H's class: Monday 8th January P3 & 4, extended questions Tuesday 9th January P6, 25 multiple choice questions Miss H's class: Tuesday 9th January P5, 25 multiple choice questions Wednesday 10th January P5 & 6, extended questions
Waves test Wednesday 28th August during the lesson. Space test Friday 6th September during the lesson. You are responsible for learning the material that is in the Notes, compendium and in the LOQ answers.
BEFORE YOUR RETURN…… Complete WAVES- we are not likely to return to the WAVES section. All of the Waves book and LOQ SPACE- NOTES 7.1-7.13 EXCEPT The Energy and Space Stuff (Tutorial on pp 54-55) or Re –entry and heat pp77-78 Plot the graph p47 8.1-8.7 I will do 8.7 with you.
Homework: Section 9.1 and 9.2 of the Learning Outcome Questions see the Electricity Section of the Website for the Draft version of these. Put your name on them and hand them in to the Green Tray on Monday.
POSTPONED UNTIL FRIDAY 20TH SEPTEMBER. 2 LESSONS OF REVISION REQUIRED BEFORE THEN A possible date for the Space Test Friday 6th September, but it depends on the content. I don't want to cover the energy section until we do with the Dynamics Section.
On www.Mrsphysics.co.uk/n5 Physics notes -> Assignment there are some Starter Questions. You MUST go through these carefully. The better prepared you are by looking over these questions the more likely you are to do well in the real thing.
For Friday 15th November, Finish the question on POTENTIAL DIVIDER circuits in the ELECTRICITY BOOK. NB, these Questions are also given in the LOQ so you can answer them on paper and keep your notes up to date. the OCTOBER ASSESSMENT, including where you went wrong and how you can correct this.
